Job Title: Relief Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Relief Chef to join our team at Elior, a leading contract caterer in the UK. As a Relief Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens and providing exceptional food service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support a catering team to deliver high-quality food service to our customers.
  • Proactively manage food stocks, ordering, and cost control to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison.
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership ability and experience in a similar role.
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence and a strong team player.
  • Catering experience with chef skills, with contract catering experience desirable.
  • Senior chef management experience is essential.
