Deputy Nurse Home Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Nurse Home Manager to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a purpose-built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues.
  • Overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
  • Care plan development and assessments.
  • Looking after all residents alongside the team and offering personalised centred care.
  • Engaging with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • Promoting ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
Requirements:
  • Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
