Deputy Nurse Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Thetford, Norfolk. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager
  • Providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues
  • Overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care
  • Care plan development and assessments
  • Looking after all residents alongside the team and offering personalised centred care
  • Engaging with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams
  • Promoting ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home
