Deputy Nursing Home Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our nursing home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the care staff and ensuring the provision of high-quality care.
  • Take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents and ensure their care plans are up to date.
  • Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations.
Requirements:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant experience.
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships.
