Full Time Catering Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at Challenge-trg Recruitment in Livingston, EH54.

Pay Rate: £11.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 15:00pm or 10:30am - 18:30pm, with occasional weekends during peak periods

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and managers to achieve kitchen goals
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, completing tasks with honesty and integrity
  • Ensure food and other products are consistently prepared and served according to kitchen processes, recipes, portioning, and cooking
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation

Requirements:

  • Hold Food Safety level 3 or above
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience assisting in the kitchen
  • Excellent knowledge of food health and safety regulations
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Expert in quantity cooking
