LOCATION(S): Leeds

About This Role

Are you a seasoned analyst with expertise in Liquidity Reporting?

This role presents an opportunity for a skilled Senior Analyst to collaborate closely with the wider Liquidity Reporting team, delivering exceptional reporting to a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders. This position is highly visible, providing exposure to senior management as well as the complete Group balance sheet.

In your daily responsibilities, you will:

  • Produce Liquidity risk reports for the Group and its entities, including but not limited to regulatory reports, risk appetite documentation, management information, and supplementary reports to enhance understanding and decision-making regarding risk exposures.
  • Assist in elucidating key factors influencing risk exposures to both the Business and the Regulator.
  • Propose and facilitate the ongoing enhancement of the models and applications utilized for risk reporting, while effectively prioritizing between incoming changes, regulatory requirements, and operational improvements.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with Risk and Finance partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality and timely risk reporting.
  • Oversee and implement robust processes to support team objectives, including reporting, controls, and management information.

Required Qualifications

  • Background in Treasury (potentially within banking or building societies) with a solid understanding of liquidity risk.
  • Financial expertise with a comprehensive understanding of Treasury's objectives will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with banking and treasury products, along with prior experience in treasury and/or regulatory reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to proactively review, challenge, and optimize existing models or develop new modeling capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
