Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Burton
Permanent – Full Time

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Carlsberg Danmark, reporting to the Laboratory Manager. As a key member of our quality control team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and high-quality production of our products.
The role is principally Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week, with normal working shifts from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm, which may change with business needs.
- Complete general laboratory preparation and analysis
- Conduct analytical and microbiological sampling
- Apply techniques to ensure product consistency and high quality
- Utilise media and laboratory equipment effectively
- Record and report results accurately
- Participate in data interpretation
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements and Key Attributes:
- Recent university graduate or individual with laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Previous knowledge and understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required
