Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualised care plans, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to promote independence and well-being
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities and engage in activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in your approach
  • Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and complex individuals with challenging behaviours
