About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer/Consultant to join our team at Selwood. As a key member of our digital workplace team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a group-wide SharePoint Intranet that meets the needs of our business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a SharePoint Intranet that provides a central point of communication and collaboration for our employees.
  • Develop new collaborative solutions sites with workflow creation and custom solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective SharePoint solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Advise on the best use of Microsoft Power Platform to obtain and maximize functionality.
  • Lead the data migration process from SP2016 to SP2019 or SharePoint Online.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint administration, including permissions, access, and new user requests.
  • Implement and maintain a Document Management system.
  • Design and implement SharePoint site architecture.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to end-users.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a SharePoint Developer with a strong portfolio of successful SharePoint projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with integrations and migration paths from on-prem solutions to M365.
  • Demonstrable ability to evaluate the applicability of new and existing business productivity solutions.
  • Proven experience in information security and data protection.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint-related issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
