Finance Operations Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Officer to join our team in Maidstone. As a key member of our award-winning team, you will be responsible for executing complex daily trades and ensuring the accurate allocation of incoming monies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and provide exceptional customer service through the prompt and accurate processing of investment transactions.
  • Monitor incoming investment instructions to ensure trades are routed to the correct 3rd party quickly and efficiently.
  • Deal effectively with enquiries and tasks from internal customers, including timely and effective responses and actions in respect of shared team mailboxes and CRM tasks.
  • Perform first line checks on all investment instructions to ensure they are compliant.
  • Allocate all bank receipts accurately and in line with KYC requirements, and ensure the prompt resolution of issues that arise.
  • Investigate and resolve differences in settlement amounts and dividend payments through independent problem solving, escalating to Senior Officer/Team Leader as necessary.
  • Reconcile control and suspense accounts, ensuring the prompt resolution of issues arising and liaising proactively with other departments for speedy resolution of queries.
  • Prepare tax refund claims to HMRC accurately and ensure correct tracking.
  • Calculate and process manual fees accurately.
