The role of Technical Support Specialist is diverse and rewarding. You will engage with clients both on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis to ensure systems are maintained and high-quality IT support is delivered. There will also be regular chances to contribute significantly to IT project implementations.

Essential qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration/support.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting modern desktop environments (Windows 10/macOS).
  • Understanding of computer and server components, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Polite, confident, and effective communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and professionalism.
  • Team-oriented mindset – Going The Extra Mile (GTEM), providing feedback, and supporting colleagues.
  • Enhanced DBS check (conducted by the company and must remain clear).

Desirable experience includes:

Experience working within the Education sector.

What will your responsibilities entail?

  • Regular visits to client sites in the region.
  • Providing both on-site and remote technical support to clients.
  • Executing various tasks to support service or system maintenance and IT project delivery.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with clients.
  • Assisting other teams with their tasks when needed.
