Key Responsibilities:
The Safety and Operations Supervisor will be accountable for:
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards at the venue.
- Developing, implementing, and managing safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations.
- Creating a secure environment for employees, participants, and spectators.
- Executing emergency procedures aligned with the Group Health and Safety policy for various scenarios, including events and venue rentals.
- Overseeing facility management to maintain a safe site for all.
- Monitoring adherence to safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborating with the Commercial Team and Racing Teams to prepare the venue for events, ensuring operational plans are in place.
- Engaging with security personnel and stewards to ensure all staff are properly qualified and trained.
- Maintaining site security and managing access to prevent risks.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- NEBOSH certification or progress towards it.
- Desirable but not essential: Level 4 Spectator Safety certification (training can be provided).
