Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Girling Jones Ltd. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in helping us deliver exceptional standards in highways maintenance and civil engineering projects.

The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines
  • Liaising with clients to identify their needs
  • Preparing tender and contract documents
  • Identifying and weighing up commercial risks
  • Assigning work to subcontractors
  • Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will have a Construction Related Qualification and be familiar with NEC contracts. Additionally, you will have experience in Highways Maintenance & Traffic Management Schemes.
