We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Girling Jones Ltd. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate costs, quantities, and project timelines to ensure accurate commercial management
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
- Prepare tender and contract documents to ensure seamless project execution
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks to protect our clients' interests
- Assign work to subcontractors and manage budgets to ensure timely completion
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the civil engineering sector
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and construction-related qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
