Job Overview
Integrated Surgery is seeking a dedicated, diligent, and enthusiastic individual to become a part of our Admissions Team as an Inpatient Surgery Scheduling Coordinator. Your primary responsibility will be to arrange surgical dates for patients and ensure that all clinical activities are documented accurately.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication abilities, demonstrating experience in high-pressure environments and meeting tight deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be required to interact effectively with patients and staff at all levels.
There may be occasional responsibilities to assist in the Reception area as needed.

Job Duties
- Facilitate the efficient management of patient pathways by ensuring timely arrangements for all necessary surgical admission appointments, processing preoperative and diagnostic tests as required, and ensuring patients receive prompt treatment in accordance with established standards.
- Assist in coordinating surgical schedules to optimize time management and maximize the utilization of theatre capacity, collaborating closely with designated consultant teams.
- Support the tracking and validation of patient information by maintaining up-to-date databases and patient information systems.
- Prepare and compile statistical data as needed, inputting information into databases in line with organizational requirements.
- Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and other office tasks.
- Ensure that all correspondence and documentation are filed promptly and accurately cross-referenced when necessary.
- Address inquiries on behalf of the Clinical Teams within established limits and take appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments, general practitioners, and healthcare agencies as required.
- Offer assistance to colleagues as needed and provide coverage within the team during absences.
