Financial Administrator

Workshop Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and contributing to the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a multi-currency purchase ledger for two companies, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Receive and respond to all telephone enquiries, providing excellent customer service and follow-up as required.
- Match purchase orders, process invoices and credits in multiple currencies, and manage payment runs to ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and company credit cards, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Process expenses, commissions, and pensions, as well as manage petty cash and first-line payroll administration.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the Finance team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in finance and accounts administration, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a professional and courteous telephone manner.
- A 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work 5 days a week, with some flexibility for reduced hours.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Salary will be pro-rata for reduced hours.
