Position Overview:
We are looking for an International Mobility Specialist to join Alchemy Global Talent Solutions Ltd.

This role is an individual contributor position that encompasses both operational and strategic responsibilities, overseeing the complete assignment lifecycle while advising senior stakeholders as the global authority on international mobility.

This position is part of the global HR services team, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, people operations, and talent acquisition.

The ideal candidate will excel in a technology-driven environment and will be comfortable working in a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the International Mobility expert, managing the comprehensive international assignment and relocation process for employees worldwide, with a primary focus on the USA, Europe, and APAC regions.
  • Oversee all types of global mobility, including permanent relocations, expatriate assignments, new hire relocations, and remote work arrangements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Talent, Legal, Tax, and Travel departments.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors involved in domestic and international mobility, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Provide expert guidance and strategic consultation on international mobility to internal stakeholders based on organizational needs.
  • Conduct assessments for assignees and present tailored relocation options and benefits on an individual basis.
  • Treat each relocation and international assignment uniquely, ensuring a flexible and customized global mobility program that enhances the experience for both the organization and the employee.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate circumstances and propose solutions considering various factors such as tax, payroll, immigration, social security, and employment regulations.
  • Work closely with HR, HRIS, and Finance teams to ensure accurate data management.
  • Partner with the Immigration department to address immigration-related inquiries.
  • Regularly update employees and relevant internal stakeholders on case management progress and timelines.
  • Continuously enhance internal international mobility resources, guides, and offerings.
  • Gather feedback on global mobility program management and proactively suggest improvements or new initiatives, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze data related to mobility trends within the organization.
  • Assist the Global HR Team with various projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Over 10 years of experience in global mobility, preferably in an in-house capacity.
  • Proven ability to develop and scale a global mobility program to support a growing organization.
  • Experience working effectively in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong operational and strategic expertise in global mobility.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including evaluating new vendors and navigating complex compliance-related cases.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar HR management systems.
  • Knowledge of employment-based immigration is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present viable options for the business.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a demanding environment, with a collaborative attitude and a sense of humor.
