Job Title: Supply Chain Team Leader

Join Air Liquide's Specialty Gases business as a Supply Chain Team Leader, responsible for managing a team of Delivery Drivers, Shipping and Material Planners, to coordinate our Sales and Operations planning process.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic thinker to ensure the safe delivery of Specialty Gas products to our customers. The successful candidate will develop and implement a robust production plan, coordinate and manage asset/material availability, and establish a coordinated Sales & Operational Planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Delivery Drivers, Shipping and Material Planners to ensure efficient and safe delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement a robust production plan to meet customer demands.
  • Coordinate and manage asset/material availability to minimize delays and optimize inventory levels.
  • Establish a coordinated Sales & Operational Planning process to ensure high levels of customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with various internal departments, including SHEQ, Operations, Product Management, and Commercial, to drive continuous improvement across the Specialty Gas business.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop, coach, and inspire a multi-skilled team.
  • Organized and strategic thinker with experience in managing teams and coordinating cross-functional processes.
  • Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to support strategy.
Desirable Experience
  • Managing drivers under ADR and hazardous goods regulations, including training, dispatch, and planning.
  • Managing or supervising a team of at least 5-10 people.
  • Working within a high-hazard environment and experience of operating high-pressure/flammable materials.
  • Knowledge and experience of production, materials distribution planning tools and processes.
