About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Uniting People. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain operations to meet the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Planning: Develop and implement supply chain production schedules to ensure efficient material management and high standards of supply chain quality.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Analyze supply chain production capacity and adjust plans as necessary to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production flow and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with sales and internal production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective material control and management through the supply chain.
  • Supply Chain Quality: Develop and implement supply chain quality standards and procedures, conduct regular supply chain audits to verify accuracy and integrity of material records, and evaluate and manage suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, risk, and management criteria.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, enhance quality, and reduce costs, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Commercial Experience: Experience in a commercial role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Credentials: CIPS qualified or part-qualified and willing to study preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent commercial acumen, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Technology: Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Google Suite would be an advantage.
