Job Overview

Right Now Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent International Freight Forwarder seeking to hire a new Logistics Route Coordinator. The successful applicant will possess significant expertise in strategizing routes for airport transportation vehicles, complemented by a CPC qualification. A solid understanding of UK geography is also preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily scheduling for a fleet of 13 airport vehicles, ensuring timely collections and deliveries as per client requirements.
  • Maintain communication with drivers throughout the day, tracking their progress to guarantee the completion of tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Coordinate vehicle availability in line with service schedules and oversee maintenance and repair planning, including cost monitoring.
  • Utilize third-party hauliers to accommodate loads exceeding fleet capacity.
  • Oversee Import Inventory management.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with driver hours and working time regulations.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the UK Transport Sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • CPC Qualification is advantageous.

Location: Feltham/LHR
Salary: Up to £40,000
Shift Pattern: 4 ON 4 OFF Days (06:00 - 18:00)
