Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for several permanent Domestic Assistants at University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.

Working Hours:

  • Post 1: Monday to Friday, 5pm to 9pm (19.8 hours per week)
  • Post 2: Monday to Friday, 5pm to 8:30pm (17.3 hours per week)
  • Post 3: Monday to Friday, 5pm to 8pm (14.9 hours per week)
  • Post 4: Saturday & Sunday, 8am to 1:30pm (9.9 hours per week)
  • Post 5: Saturday & Sunday, 4pm to 8pm (7.9 hours per week)
  • Post 6: Saturday & Sunday, 2pm to 5pm (6 hours per week)
  • Post 7: Saturday & Sunday, 5pm to 8pm (6 hours per week)
  • Post 8: Saturday, 6am to 9am & Sunday, 8am to 11am (6 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Domestic Services Department, you will perform a range of cleaning and housekeeping tasks. Flexibility in your work area is essential.

Essential Skills and Experience:

While experience with industrial cleaning equipment or in a healthcare environment is beneficial, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, along with strong communication skills, is crucial.

Applicants should possess physical fitness, a keen understanding of the significance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting, and a willingness to adapt to various work areas within the facility.
