About the Role

Civitas Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a renowned Islamic charity dedicated to providing long-term support to orphan children and their families in need.

The charity supports and cares for over 40,000 orphans and their families across 13 countries, including Somalia and Palestine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial resources for the charity's orphan and widow sponsorship programs.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee fundraising activities across various channels, including community outreach, events, mosque partnerships, and local business collaborations.
  • Lead and manage fundraising campaigns, leveraging expertise in donor relations, grant writing, and public speaking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive fundraising efforts and achieve large income targets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong track record of fundraising and donor relations in the charity sector, with expertise in leading and managing fundraising teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing and public speaking.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with familiarity with fundraising software and CRM systems.
  • Strong team working skills, creative problem-solving skills, and a personable approach.
  • Alignment with the organization's values and knowledge of the Muslim fundraising space, with experience in mosque appeals and collections.
