Experienced Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Durham. As a member of our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team, you will have the opportunity to support children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the care, services, and resources needed to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of children with varying needs and disabilities, providing support, guidance, and advocacy for the children and their families.
- Conduct assessments, create care plans, and work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure that children and families are supported effectively.
- Ensure the child's voice is heard in all decision-making processes.
- Attend and contribute to meetings such as Child in Need reviews, safeguarding conferences, and multi-agency meetings.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and safeguarding procedures.
