About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children and families, working closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans to meet the needs of children and families
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare professionals, teachers, and other social workers
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and families
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools and healthcare providers
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policies, ensuring compliance and best practice
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field
- Experience working with children and families, particularly those with complex needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
