Deputy Manager Role at Castle House Day Nursery

Castle House Day Nursery is dedicated to delivering outstanding early childhood education and care within a supportive atmosphere that promotes exploration, learning, and development. We are in search of a committed and skilled Deputy Manager to enhance our team and help uphold the highest standards of care and education.

Position Summary:

In the role of Deputy Manager, your primary duties will encompass assisting the Nursery Manager with daily operations, ensuring that children receive exceptional care and educational experiences, guiding and developing the team, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and fostering positive relationships with parents and guardians.

Main Duties:
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery.
  • Inspire, lead, and assist the nursery team.
  • Guarantee compliance with all regulatory obligations.
  • Create and implement educational programs and activities.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations.
  • Cultivate partnerships with parents, guardians, and the community.
  • Efficiently manage administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Level three qualification in Early Years Education.
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity within an early years environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and quality care.
  • Current Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • Experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Enhanced DBS check and two professional references.
