About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting and Compliance Manager to join our Water Resources team at South West Water Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the water resources reporting and compliance team, covering the South West Water, Bristol Water, Bournemouth Water, and Isles of Scilly regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the water resources reporting and compliance team, ensuring the delivery of internal and regulatory reporting outputs.
  • Manage all assurance activities associated with the function, including internal auditing and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Implement and enforce robust processes for data collection and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability of internal and regulatory reports.
  • Continuously review and assure function deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines set forth by regulatory authorities.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and proactively adapt reporting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with evolving requirements.
Requirements
  • Dynamic professional with a background in compliance management in a regulated industry.
  • Statistics, Business, Finance, Law, Economics, Science, or Environmental-related degree.
  • Track record of successfully managing compliance audits, investigations, or regulatory inquiries and experience in liaising with regulatory authorities, industry groups, or other external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of water resources standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan, track, deliver, and evaluate work to meet defined deadlines, adapt to challenges, and build strong relationships with external regulators, stakeholders, and internal teams at all levels.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of circa £52,000 to £57,000.
