Job Title: Fleet Administrator - Power & Group

Ipsum Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Administrator to join our team in a key role within our Power & Group business area.

About the Role

As a Fleet Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our fleet of 300+ vehicles. This will involve managing procurement, in-life management, disposal, and all functions related to fleet activities, including cost management and profit maximization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the fleet of 300+ vehicles, ensuring compliance with transport legislation and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective service planning, scheduling, and review processes.
  • Oversee contractor maintenance and manage the fleet team, including recruitment, retention, and training.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and liaison.
  • Contribute to the development of the Fleet and Road Risk strategy.
  • Monitor driver behaviors and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage fleet costs and ensure they remain within business expectations.
Requirements
  • CPC qualification in Road Transport and Operator Licence(s) holder.
  • Proven experience as a Fleet/Transport Manager.
  • Strong understanding of EU driver hours, GB Domestic hours, and Working Time Directive.
  • Flexible attitude and approach.
  • Mechanical background.
