We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team at MWHTreatment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the Commercial Management of Projects, working closely with our Commercial Manager and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, including quantity surveying duties, cost management, and contractual negotiations.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with design, construction, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  3. Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their business requirements are met.
  4. Contract Management: Manage main contracts, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary.
  5. Subcontract Management: Prepare and issue subcontract documentation, manage subcontractors, and ensure timely payment applications.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  7. Team Development: Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  8. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry changes and innovations by participating in external networking, conferences, and associations.
  9. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback, and ensuring a professional image of the department and MWHTreatment.
  10. Confidentiality: Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality in all internal and external interactions.
