Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and notify the Commercial Lead of any main contract derogations.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates on package summary sheets.
  • Produce cash and turnover forecasts per package.
  • Take overall responsibility for external, internal, and package risk and opportunity schedules.
  • Support the project team with commercial and contractual expertise.
  • Assist the procurement team in producing package procurement documents as required.
  • Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Implement policies for risk management.
  • Prepare Subcontract Final Accounts for review and sign-off.
  • Prepare and present monthly Cost Reports.
  • Value works executed by Sub-Contractors.
  • Certify interim and final payments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and change management processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract administration, risk management, and valuation processes.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and project management tools.
  • Relevant driving licence.
