The Cinnamon Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Volunteer Coordinator Level 2 to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our volunteers and ensuring the delivery of our services to elderly and terminally ill people and their pets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To assist in contacting volunteers nationwide and tasking them to help petitioners with their pets, ensuring a high level of service delivery and quality.
  • To listen to the needs of each petitioner and accurately record information for each petitioner and their pet, using our computerized case management system.
  • To ensure all communications are recorded accurately and in a timely manner, providing a clear audit trail for our services.
  • To maintain up-to-date records and mailing lists for petitioners, their contacts, and volunteers, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • To ensure the delivery of our services, including dog walking, home checks, short-term fostering, long-term fostering, pet care, and talks, using our volunteer network to provide support and care to those in need.
  • To participate in on-call duties, providing emergency support and care to our clients, and working collaboratively with other team members to ensure a high level of service delivery.
  • To liaise with other members of The Cinnamon Trust team, volunteers, and stakeholders to maintain a high level of service quality and ensure effective communication.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of our services, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • To maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in all interactions with clients, volunteers, and stakeholders, upholding the values and mission of The Cinnamon Trust.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to participate in on-call duties, which will involve working a rota of one week in five, including evenings and weekends. A day in lieu will be given for working bank holidays.
