About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Protective Security team at Allwyn UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the security and integrity of the National Lottery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret data sets using statistical tools to identify trends and patterns that may indicate suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with the Intelligence and Investigation teams to understand threats to the National Lottery and contribute to the development of proactive monitoring and reporting.
  • Design and manage data dashboards, graphs, and visualisations to provide actionable insights to the team.
  • Provide analysis of incidents and team activities for management reports, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain data quality control, validation, and linkage procedures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication skills across a varied stakeholder landscape.
  • High level of organisation and ability to self-task when issues arise.
  • Resilience and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with centralised scripting analytical tools, such as Business Objects, SAS, and SQL.
  • Advanced user of Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
