Your role will involve providing technical expertise in cooling-focused HVAC projects and offering guidance to both our internal teams and clients.


Key Responsibilities:
1.

Cooling System Proficiency:
Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of cooling systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, and various process cooling applications.

2.

Project Coordination:

Assist in the planning, management, and execution of HVAC projects with a cooling emphasis, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Create Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to facilitate an efficient process while adhering to health and safety regulations.

3.

Technical Guidance:
Offer technical installation support and advice to the HVAC engineering team.
Resolve installation challenges and propose effective solutions.

4.

Client Engagement:
Work collaboratively with clients to ascertain their cooling needs.
Propose appropriate solutions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

5.

Team Collaboration:
Engage closely with your team and other HVAC professionals, including engineers, to deliver superior cooling services.

6.

Quality Control:
Ensure that cooling systems comply with industry standards and regulations while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

7.

Record Keeping:
Maintain precise records, project documentation, and technical reports.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage site and customer interactions.
  • Conduct site surveys and audits.
  • Provide technical and practical support to engineers in the delivery of HVAC projects.
  • Quote for all elements of a project, including equipment, labor, and transport.
  • Build detailed RAMS for clients and the sales team.
  • Support technical standards and operational policies across every element of the business.
  • Plan and manage projects.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and awareness within RAMS for project delivery with guidance from our HSEQ.
  • Participate in the on-call manager's rota.

Required Experience and Skills:

Essential:
1. NVQ Level 3 in HVAC engineering or a related mechanical and electrical field.

2. 2+ years of experience in HVAC, with a strong focus on cooling systems.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft software and ability to use a tablet for reporting and auditing.

4. Knowledge of industry codes and standards.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:
Experience with HVAC design software.

Health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or similar.

Previous project management experience.

Employment history within the hire industry.
