About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Parametric Portfolio. As a key member of our Model Risk Management (MRM) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent review and validation of our financial models, ensuring they comply with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and protect our firm's capital base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address model-related risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in quantitative finance, and apply this knowledge to enhance our risk management practices.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a Quant role, with a strong background in model validation, development, or technical risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python, with knowledge of other programming languages such as R, Scala, and MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques, quantitative finance, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
