Job title: Engineer-Mechanical Auxiliary Systems
Location: Scotstoun
Salary: Up to £41,457 dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Participate in designs of auxiliary systems and compartments
- Active engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Development of marine engineering processes
- Being a subject matter expert and leading decision making for designated systems or areas of responsibility
- Serving as primary specialist point of contact for suppliers
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience with mechanical engineering systems, ideally in marine engineering or offshore space
- Understanding of engineering lifecycle management
- Knowledge of mechanical systems design
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
