Delegated Authority/Binder Operations Associate

Kentro Capital is seeking to hire a proactive and driven Delegated Authority/Binder Operations Associate to support the ambitious growth of the Group.

This varied role will include building trusted relationships with the business units and managers, providing high-quality technical and administrative support as well as managing complex queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Tasks

Delegated Authority/Binder Operations Associate will be responsible for:

  • Proactively supporting the business with all day-to-day operational needs;
  • Assisting with the Written Bordereaux preparation process for review by Directors/Department Heads and Carriers;
  • Assisting with the management/administration of new/renewal Binding Authority Agreements and helping to ensure that existing files are kept up to date;
  • Assisting with the approval and registration process of Binding Authority Agreements using various Lloyd’s and London Market tools, such as DCOM, Atlas, QA Tool, Crystal, Xchanging and DDM;
  • Creating and improving operational policies and procedural manuals under guidance from the Senior Operations Associates;
  • Updating internal trackers and other reporting mechanisms;
  • Carrying out system testing in RiskWrite (Underwriting & Accounting system) and RiskWrite Analytics (Data Warehouse) as required, such that new/renewal Binding Authority Agreements, products and system functionality can be signed off from an operations perspective;
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects
Requirements

To be considered the candidates must have / will be:

  • Ideally educated to A Levels or QCF Level 3 and/or equivalent qualification
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a focus of providing the best possible service
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks within a high pressured environment, including working to tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail in producing a quality output, accurate record keeping
  • Presentable, with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Desire to find solutions to problems and keen to learn and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
  • IT literate, must have good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Knowledge of Binding Authority Agreements essential
