About the role
It's an exciting time to join the Talent Acquisition Team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers plus streamline and automate our business processes.
Representing the Talent Acquisition Team (TA) in AXA UK's retail and commercial insurance businesses, you will support us in our alignment to their goals and subsequent capability plans to recruit diverse and engaged talent.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements such as part-time or condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

**What you'll be doing**:
The interface and Subject Matter Expert between retail, commercial and TA, you will relay strategic objectives to TA and represent TA to the businesses regarding the realities and exciting possibilities of the talent market.
Build organisational capability by establishing workforce requirements with Managers and the People Team.
Review assessment capability frameworks to support the attraction and retention of talent.
Undertake executive hiring and, where necessary, provide support to the TA Team at all levels of recruitment.
Manage succession planning for Senior Leader levels and above, creating talent pipelines to mitigate risk.
Engage and influence stakeholders to adopt appropriate recruitment strategies and inclusion initiatives.
Provide guidance and expertise on market trends, best practices and innovative approaches to talent acquisition.
Contribute to wider People-led projects as designated by Head of Talent Acquisition.

**What we’re looking for**:
Successful relationship management particularly with senior but all levels of stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Ability to translate ambiguity into a successful way forward for TA and the businesses.
Strong TA background across all levels including complex Executive level hires.
Expertise in commencing, managing and delivering projects.
Creative, commercial approach to finding solutions.
Collaborative approach wishing to help all involved to achieve business aspirations.
