Overview:
The Counselling Partnership is a charity based in Walton on Thames and is seeking to employ an office administrator. The charity addresses the mental health needs of the local community by offering affordable counselling, and we do this by offering counsellors in training and qualified counsellors appropriate clinical experience for their training needs.

**Duties**:
To support the Counselling Service Manager in her role as the person responsible for the clinical and operational management of the charity.

To work and communicate effectively with clients, volunteer counsellors, supervisors, colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing with the ability to maintain clear boundaries.

To support the recruitment of volunteer counsellors and maintain accurate records of their counselling sessions and training needs.

To maintain and manage the counselling waiting lists.

To manage room bookings and invoicing for counselling sessions

To oversee the management of donations

To manage and maintain record systems for clients in line with data protection requirements. To manage GDPR and DBS procedures.

To ensure service outcome and outputs are effectively monitored and evaluated. To prepare service statistics as required.

To support the work of the charity's fund raising activities to include keeping a log of existing grant funding and monitoring when grants need to be applied for/processed

To oversee the management of premises leased or rented to the charity, ensuring that legal requirements are in place, such as Public and Employers' liability insurance.

To review regularly the Operational Manual of the charity's processes.

To support recruitment across the charity, ensuring that our commitment to diversity and equality is upheld.

To support the work of the Chair of Trustees and to attend quarterly Trustee Meetings as required.

To support CPD and fund raising events.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in computerized systems, including Office 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in the charities sector would be a benefit

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
