**Higher Level Teaching Assistant / PPA Cover TA| Derby**

Higher Level Teaching Assistant / PPA Cover
Derby
Payscale £80-95 per day

**Main Duties will include**:

- Working 1:1 with children as well as delivering group support.
- Helping to engage SEN pupils and encouraging interaction.
- Supporting children with reading, writing and their work.
- Supporting the Class teacher with delivery of lessons, and leading class sessions during PPA time
- Prepare and deliver planned learning activities to smaller groups and whole classes.

**To be successful in the role you will**:

- Have at least one years' experience working within a school.
- Be HLTA qualified, desirable but not essential
- Have a good understanding of supporting SEN students.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to quickly build relationships with students and staff.
