**Job Title**:SEN Teaching Assistant

**Aim**: Provide support to the tutor who will be teaching them communications using PECS symbols and supporting them regulate their emotions to re-engage him, as he has been out of school for three months.

**Location**: St Austell, Cornwall

**Frequency**: 4, could increase (Timings are flexible)

**Duration**:Until an SEN school placement has been found and the student has been reintegrated into the setting.

**Extra info**:The student is a non-verbal year six learner that has ASD. This role will be support the tutor, who teaches them communications using PECS symbols and supports them regulate their emotions. You will act as a social mentor to help the learner gain some independence by completing small day to day tasks. The tuition will be held in an educational setting.
