As a Credit Controller, you'll play a vital role in overseeing customer accounts, ensuring payments are made promptly and reducing our company's debtor days. Your mission? Collaborate closely with branches and customers to pinpoint reasons for late payments, providing essential support to balance accounts efficiently—all while delivering exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with LKQ Euro Car Parts branches and external customers to swiftly resolve queries
- Liaise with branches and senior management to optimise payment performance for select accounts, providing assistance in debt collection when needed
- Review aged debt to minimise outstanding balances, ensuring financial stability
- Conduct account reconciliation and resolve queries to maintain accuracy and clarity
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Craft and send tailored chasing letters to customers as necessary, maintaining proactive account management
- Implement account status changes, placing accounts on stop or removing restrictions as appropriate
- Escalate any unresolved issues to regional credit managers or branch managers for timely resolution
- Ensure prompt production and adherence to strict timelines and compliance standards

**Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated proficiency in credit control from a dynamic B2B environment, showcasing adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Dedication to the role with a sense of urgency
- Proven expertise in account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and financial integrity
- Essential prior experience in cash collection, highlighting a track record of successful debt recovery
- Ability to effectively manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, maintaining professionalism and efficiency
- Possession of a valid UK driving license, enabling occasional travel to customer sites for business needs
