**Wise May are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join a very busy Accountancy business based in the St Pauls area.**

**Processing and administration of weekly and monthly payroll for clients within the company's 'Expat Tax Team', ensuring a professional service is provided to clients at all times.**

**Payroll experience is needed to hit the ground running in this friendly and supportive team of 9.**

**Duties**:

- Process client payrolls accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with payroll procedures and using the software designated by the firm.
- Prepare monthly payslips for client employees and directors and submit these in accordance with the requirements of the clients.
- Assist the Client Payroll Manager to make such arrangements for the payment of client payroll wages, salaries and statutory payments as are required by agreement and statute, in a timely fashion.
- Prepare Year End returns for clients, including P60s and P11Ds, ensuring that all the correct forms are completed and submitted by the appropriate deadlines.
- Assist with advice and guidance and answer queries arising from the Payroll Assistants.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of clients with an expectation to meet with the client as and when required, including attending meetings at clients’ premises, and regular discussions via conference calls
- Comply, on behalf of clients, with all statutory filings within the deadlines set.
- Prepare schedules to ensure that all information is received on time and passed to HMRC before the deadline date.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills and excellent telephone manner
- Experience of STAR or IRIS Software
- Understanding offshore tax is an advantage
