A globally operating manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Planner for their UK sales office based in Lichfield.

As a Logistics Planner, you will be part of a small team and have responsibility for ensuring orders are loaded correctly on to the SAP system against production schedules as well as managing changes to schedules and problems caused from logístical issues.

Hybrid working is available with 2 days working at home and 3 in the office, flexibility on which days.

**Key responsibilities of Logistics Planner**:

- Use of SAP systems
- Monitoring of all prices within SAP (both sales and purchase)
- Input and process customer schedules and prepare suppliers schedules
- Monitor, control, and progress goods required from suppliers
- Prepare and maintain import files and procedures for all container / truck and air freight imports
- Process delivery and invoicing queries with the customers
- Notify customers and warehouse of pending deliveries
- Maintain and control warehouse stock accuracy and levels
- Passing of all freight invoices as required
- Control all product shortages with both the customers and the suppliers
- Monthly sales reporting as is required
- Support as is necessary to other team members.

**Experience and skills required**:

- Ideally 3+ years previous logistics planning or expediting experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous SAP experience (or similar ERP/MRP systems)
- Ability to make decisions in a prompt time frame and the ability to investigate and create alternatives whilst also understanding root cause analysis/risk mitigation
- Microsoft software, mainly Excel

You may have held similar roles such as Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Expeditor or Logistics Administrator.
