Certain job roles may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business need, but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
The corporate hub location will be the designated place of work and any remote or home working arrangement does not constitute a change to your designated place of work or contractual Terms and Conditions.
The Reducing Parental Conflict programme aims to embed support to tackle intense, frequent, and poorly resolved conflict into local family services across Local Authority footprints. This financial year it is backed by up to £11m.
It is located within the Family Policy and Disadvantaged Youth Policy team within the Poverty, Family, and Disadvantage Directorate coordinating all work streams and project management and implementation functions. The directorate is also delivering a number of other programmes over the next few years including one supporting peer mentoring for those with Alcohol or Drug dependencies which we hope to pull from the reserve list for this role.

- ** A HEO Programme Management Officer**
**Job description**:
- Support the G7 and SEO in ensuring appropriate programme governance.
- Supporting all operational strands of the programme through MI reporting, continuous improvement, and overall day-to-day business management. In particular working closely with internal and external suppliers to understand facilitate delivery and enable escalation as necessary.
- Lead on Programme functions including Risk and Issue Management, Planning, Change Management, Benefits Realisation.
- Ensure compliance with departmental governance functions.
- Supporting strand leads with grant and contract management.
Working with colleagues including the Ministerial Business team, Regional Integration Leads, Analysts and Press Office on joined-up RPC communications
**Person specification**:
- Proven experience of working in a Programme Management context and familiarity with formal Project Management processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range in internal and external stakeholders.
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to both support and challenge.
- Ensure results are achieved on time, managing conflicting demands and priorities.
- Be able to work collaboratively and flexibly across the wider Reducing Parental Conflict programme team with Policy and Implementation colleagues.
