**Working Hours**: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

**Base Location**: This role is a flexible hybrid working arrangement with an expectation that some time will be spent working from the site where the team operates in Bradford.

**Purpose of the role**

Yorkshire Water are currently recruiting for a **Portfolio Coordinator** for a 12-month period, to deliver overall project administration for the delivery of change projects across the Capital Programme, in the Asset Delivery business unit. The Change Coordinator will support the Capital Modernisation Team by providing administrative support. The key purpose areas are:

- Coordination of the Capital Programme’s Steering and Planning group meetings
- Update, review, and allocation of work through the coordination of the Capital Programme Continuous Improvement Register.
- Support the Capital Modernisation Team with administrative tasks associated with improvements to Project Lifecycle.
- Liaise with Project Managers to update Change Project monthly forecasts. Produce reports and analyse data on the performance of the Capital Modernisation programme.
- Provide general administrative support for the Capital Modernisation Team.

**Key Accountabilities**

Some of the key responsibilities you will have will include but are not limited to:

- To administer the Continuous Improvement Process which includes managing the new ideas log, working with stakeholders to investigate the ideas, and feeding back to the individuals that have submitted ideas.
- To provide timely reports on the change programme using Microsoft Apps and Power BI.
- Supporting projects teams to deliver change projects adopting the Continuous Improvement governance process.
- To work with the YW Integrated Management System (IMS) document controller to administer the Capital Delivery IMS (CDIMS) and the Capital Delivery Plan SharePoint site.
- Own the Capital Transformation SharePoint site and keep it up to date with relevant communications.
- To coordinate and support documenting processes and producing business process diagrams.
- To support on documenting Procedures and Guidance.
- To deliver small Continuous Improvement projects.
- Support the team to deliver change impact assessments.
- Support the team to own a calendar of training and events.
- Support in the production and planning of training material and events.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**

**Essential**
- Experience of projects and programmes.
- Experience of using Microsoft Apps and Power BI.
- Experience of using SharePoint and Visio.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Analytical and reporting skills.
- Clearly demonstrates the Yorkshire Water company values and behaviours.
- Working with colleagues inside & outside the team, to support the day-to-day delivery of team, department, and directorate objectives.
- A flexible and agile approach to the completion of tasks, working beyond team boundaries as and when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and be able to communicate with a range of different people both internal and external to Yorkshire Water.
- Good organisational skills be proactive and be able to work successfully in a team.

**Desirable**
- Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment.
- Previous experience gained within the water or wastewater sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors.
- Experience in change and modernisation.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement.
- Experience in Integrated management systems.
