Are you a confident HR Advisor looking for a new and exciting 12- month fixed term contract opportunity, with the possibility of it being extended? Would you like to be part of a great HR team, working in the non-profit sector?

This scientific professional membership organisation and examining body, works for the benefit of the public across the UK. Their main office is located in the heart of London, close to a number of excellent transport links. The HR Advisor will work on a hybrid basis, only needing to attend the office 1-2 days per week. The organisation has around 60 employees along with over 200 examiners and service providers. You will be part of a small but friendly HR team, consisting of three HR professionals.

The purpose of this important generalist HR Advisor job will be to provide pro-active HR advice to the heads of departments and managers on all HR related matters, in line with the organisations policies and ACAS code of practice. The salary for this 12- month FTC HR position is paying up to £42,300 per annum.

The main responsibilities of this 12- month fixed term contract HR Advisor role include:

- Providing day to day HR advice to employees on all people matters.
- Leading on employee relation cases, coaching managers when needed.
- Developing and updating people related policies.
- Developing and delivering bite sized master classes for managers around key HR related topics.
- Coaching the HR Officer to enable them to grow and develop in their role.
- Supporting the Head of HR on related projects.
- Providing advice and guidance on complex recruitment issues, assisting managers with interview testing and question design as needed.

This exciting HR Advisor job will suit a CIPD level 5 qualified or above HR professional with a generalist HR background. The post holder will have a good working knowledge of UK employment law and be confident at working in a small but dynamic HR team. The HR Advisor will have the ability to work at pace, prioritise, meet deadlines along with building good relationships across the organisation. Finally, a proven ability to deliver presentations and training to small groups is also important.

The interview process will consist of 2-stages, one being virtual and the other face-to-face at their office.
