**About the Role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Office Supervisor to join our team at our Bishop Auckland site.

This role is to lead and direct the administrative function in delivering accurate, effective and professional administration whilst supporting the team in maintaining excellent customer service. Represent Voice of Office administration and the customer in the local management team and give input to improvement of operations. Together with the rest of the Plant management team, ensure optimal delivery on expectations

We are looking for someone who's organisational skills are outstanding and who is proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel. You must have a passion for delivering high levels of customer service support.

**Responsibilities**

To ensure that the company’s vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Elis Health and Safety Policy, national legislative requirements and the safety and wellbeing of your team.

Ensure all call logs raised due to complaints are actioned within the timescales specified, with corrective action taken where necessary.

Co-operate and communicate with other departments and colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met.

To promptly and courteously notify customers of shortfalls on their deliveries.

To develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues and to provide first line support to both.

Provide assistance to the General Manager as and when required.

**Requirements**:
PC literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook) to minimum level 2.

Effective communication skills.

Customer focussed

Confident and professional telephone manner.

Ability to prioritise own workload and work with minimum supervision.
- Methodical approach to work with good attention to detail.

**Essential**:
Minimum 2 years basic administration experience which has involved direct customer relationships and telephone work.

GCSE English Language or equivalent.

GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.

Microsoft user qualification to demonstrate level of literacy.

**Desirable**:
Administrative qualification e.g. NVQ II or III.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
