**£32,000 - £35,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits + First Class Training**
**Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays, 8:00am - 1:00pm**

Are you a Quality Engineer with a background in manufacturing? Are you interested in working for one of the UK's leading Automotive companies, responsible for manufacturing fundamental parts for the likes of Ferrari, Bugatti and Aston Martin?

Due to the securing of major contracts, my client is looking to hire a Quality Engineer to work in a state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing facility near Bishop Auckland. Full product training will be provided and previous work experience within the automotivesector is NOT essential.

The quality engineer's responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products. You will be actively developing quality control systems and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managersand supervisors to implement quality measures and manage Build in Quality functions within the processes.

**The Role**:
*Developing and Implementing Quality Standards
*Monitoring and Analysing Quality Performance including reporting of KPI's for Quality
*Inspecting and Testing Measurement, equipment, and process
- The Quality Engineer should promote the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such and Six Sigma

*Relevant background in a Quality Engineering role
*Working knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings
*Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
*Fully conversant with M.S. office packages
