Key Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

- Entering supplier invoices
- Chasing up colleagues to confirm receipt of indirect goods and services
- Dealing with supplier queries in a polite, clear and timely manner
- Identifying and resolving issues with outstanding supplier invoices
- Producing a report of invoices that are cleared for payment
- Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Checking employee expense claim forms
- Assist the finance team as and when necessary with other finance related work
- Build relationships with colleagues in the other business functions and raise awareness of the proper Purchase to Payment process
- Help to raise the profile of the Finance Team within the wider business

Person Specification:

- Purchase Ledger experience
- Organised and efficient with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet key deadlines
- Good communications skills to foster productive working relationships
- Proficiency in numeracy skills
- Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and our customers
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
