Roles and Responsibilities within the role of Purchase Ledger
- Opening Post
- Processing of all purchase Invoices on Auto Entry and Xero
- Sending out for authorisation
- Collating for Statement Reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliation
- Dealing with disputed Invoices and contacting suppliers
- Statement reconciliation
- Setting up payment run
- Sending out remittances
- Filling and archiving periodically
- Answering calls and transferring calls
- Cashing up the till and banking
Required Skills for this role would include:
- Knowledge of Xero, Excel and Outlook
- Good communication skills
- Good at keeping to deadlines and time management
- Able to work as part of a team and alone
- Good all-rounder who can help others if required
