We are looking for forward-thinking **Leading Practitioners (Teaching, Learning and Assessment Coaches) **who are keen to innovate and drive excellent teaching practice across a wide variety of curriculum teams.

You will be an experienced teacher and coach who has a proven track record of outstanding teaching and is experienced in mentoring staff. You will monitor and report on quality of teaching, learning and assessment in focused areas, including through evaluation of teaching, learning and assessment activity (observation, learning walks, work scrutiny, learner voice etc) reporting against key performance indicators and benchmarks; and implementing bespoke and College improvement plans where necessary.

A strong knowledge of all parts of the learner journey is needed. You will promote all aspects of teaching; such as feedback, schemes of work, eTrackr use and planning. As a Leading Practitioner you will contribute to the induction and mentoring of new teaching staff to ensure they are equipped for their role and to support strong retention for new staff.

Good organisation and time management skills are a must, and a pro-active mindset is essential. IT skills such as tracking in spreadsheets, using Teams, Microsoft Forms and Word are also essential in the role. You will engage in research and innovation in TLA that enhances teaching and learning, resulting in the continued betterment of outcomes for our learners.

You will have a rich experience of devising high quality staff development activities, and of implementing strategies to improve learner experience and outcomes thereby creating skilled teaching teams that continually reflect and improve their practices.
